AMERICAN IDOL 2011 TOP 6: NO ONE IS SAVING ANYONE THIS TIME

As the finale gets closer and closer, contestants are being sent home one by one. Yesterday, the top 6 took on songs by Carole King, but who did well? And who didn't get America's vote?

Steven is the cover of the Rolling Stones magazine, and the Idols are singing a Medley of Carole King songs.

The Ford Music Video is previewed and the TOP 6 Contestants sung "Our House" where they're shown drawing furniture inside a house.

Crystal Bowersox is back and sung her song "Ridin' with the Radio" and kept the beat, though the clapping audience were off the beat, she even brought along her carpet, and mic stand. Then BREAK.

Lauren was asked with "What is the Hardest thing About Idol?" and she answered Missing her family and friends would be the hardest one. She even sent a prayer out to the south, and into her hometown for the calamity that happened.

Haley was first asked to go to the center of the stage, and she was safe. Scotty was next to be at the center stage, and he was asked to relax. Lauren was also sent to the center stage, but were both told to hang on. Casey was sent to the center of the stage., and he was also told to Hang on. Then the show took a Break.

After the break, James was sent to the center of the stage, and he was safe.

Lauren, Scotty, and Casey are asked to the center stage with Jacob Lusk. Lauren was safe, and the three left still hanging from the results are Scotty, now that's shocking, Casey, and Jacob... But these contestants aren't really official bottom three, they were just left hanging on, because they were sent to safety in random order. Let's just assume.

After those results, Bruno Mars sung his pre-recorded performance of "The Lazy Song" where he performed like he was on his own Living Room.

Jacob Lusk was announced safe first, then Scotty was also safe. Casey Abrams is eliminated, singing "I Put A Spell on You" by hugging all the judges, kissing all the audience, and tackling all of his fellow contestants. Your top 5 are Lauren Alaina, James Durbin, Jacob Lusk, Scotty McCreery, and Haley Reinhart.

What will happen next week? Will the last girl standing be finally announced? Will be equal to the top 4 with 2 girls and 2 guys? DID AMERICA GET IT RIGHT? Please Leave a Comment.

AMERICAN IDOL 2011 TOP 6: REVIEW

Last week, it was Stefano, now who would it be this week?

This week, I'm sure Scotty will be safe, he's on my top three as well as James and Lauren.

I always said before they performed that "Carole King" song s will be boring, but the way they took the songs wasn't. I really enjoyed the show, they just need a little more invitations to grab some attention.

MY TOP THREE:
  1. Scotty McCreery - "You've Got A Friend" - I wasn't bored with his performance this time, because the song is really beautiful. Nice song choice for him, though I prefer Lauren singing this song. He will definitely be safe, and Scotty is coming back for me.
  2. James Durbin - "Will You Love Me Tomorrow" - I enjoyed his performance so much, soft yet semi-Upbeat.
  3. Lauren Alaina - I don't still see her being in the bottom three, and I think she will gain a lot of support from America since her hometown lost power. Earlier, Scotty and Lauren were both trending on twitter. She brought swagger to the stage according to Randy and I agree with taht.
MY BOTTOM THREE:
  • Jacob Lusk - "Oh No Not My Baby" - he had fun, and he performed it in an interesting way. A really good way to open the show.
  • Casey Abrams - I'm getting sick of his take on the songs. He must stop scaring us with those facial expression and voice which is a kind of slight growl. They saved him, and again, he must prove to everyone that he is worthy to be saved.
  • Haley Reinhart - she did really good. But I didn't feel any invitation from her for us to listen. America will be voting for her I know that, but I think her votes will not be enoguh for her to stay in the competition.
THE DUETS:
  1. Lauren and Scotty - they trended on Twitter, their duet is awesome, and they must make an album together! 'nuff SAID!
  2. Jacob and James - their performance was average. They somewhat invited me to listen, I guess some people enjoyed it too.
  3. Casey and Haley - they did "I Feel The Earth Move" but it was rally boring for me, because it was so Common. They have chemistry singing together, but I think they're both not safe in the eyes of America.

POSSIBLY GOING HOME: I have a feeling that Haley will be going home this time. She was in the bottom three four times, and with her performances from the previous weeks, she's not doing good enough to stay ion the competition, I never even thought that she would make it this far. However, she will really make good music someday. I am not a Haley fan, but I'll really look forward to her songs someday.

THE RESULTS TOMORROW:
Crystal Bowersox
and Bruno Mars will be performing on the Idol stage, and one of our finalists will be leaving us again.

WHAT THE AMERICAN IDOL 2011 TOP 6 SHOULD DO FOR "CAROLE KING" WEEK

This week on American Idol, the top 6 finalists will be taking on songs by the chart-topping singer during her time, Carole King. Each contestant will be taking on a song by Carole King, or maybe a song written by Carole King - anyways, almost all, or maybe all of the songs she sung were written by her.

  • Jacob Lusk - "Been to Canaan" is a song that Jacob could really take, and change interestingly. "Goin' Back" is another good song for him, but I'm not really sure for Jacob this week. I just hope he survives and he picks a really great Carole King song, because I can't think of any song for him, though I did a lot of research.
  • Haley Reinhart - "I Feel the Earth Move" really suits her voice, and I think this is the best Carole King song ever. She could also do "It Might As Well Rain Until September" because it also suits her voice perfectly. I just hope no more growling, no more air-heady-ish reactions, and more criticism from the judges for her because there are times in a song where she is losing her voice. Haley is one of the people I think would be in the Bottom Three this week. She could also do "Jazzman".
  • Casey Abrams - he could definitely go for "It's Too Late" because there's no other song I could think of for him. The genre of this song is Jazz Fusion anyway, so maybe he could really do well with this one. If he want to try other things, he could play with "Only Love is Real" where I think everyone would have fun, because it is a really nice song. If he wouldn't do well this week, he will be in the bottom three but I have a feeling that he will not be eliminated, YET.
  • Scotty McCreery - "So Far Away" would be good for him, since it's a Folk Rock song. Reba McEntire covered this on her show in 2002 and Reba is a country singer, so maybe, this would be a good song choice for Scotty. If he wants to take a risk, he should then do "Smackwater Jack" because it sounds like an Elvis song, and the way he takes on an Elvis song is really amazing, he could get the judges back if he sings this song.
  • Lauren Alaina - "Now and Forever" and "Nightingale" are some of the songs that she could sing, but I want to see more from her, where she will really take a risk, she could do "You've Got a Friend" in a really different, but better way, by maybe taking the song with a higher voice, because Carole King's take on the song, though it was flat, it sounded really interesting, and that's what really matters right now, taking on good "song choices" in an interesting way, using a really great voice. She could even win America's hearts with this song.
  • James Durbin - he could definitely change the way "Where You Lead" was sung, and turn it into Metal. Another song is "The Loco-Motion" which is way too far out of James' song choices, but he could experiment with it. He could also do "Chains" so he could continue having fun on the idol stage.

AMERICAN IDOL 2011 TOP 7: THE SOUL BROTHER SAYS GOODBYE

Yesterday, the top 7 took on songs from the 21st Century and the 21st century Invasion continues today with the performances of our hopefuls, and celebrity guests.

52 Million votes were cast the night before, and of course, we're all excited or sad to see who didn't get much of those votes.

The show was opened with Haley Reinhart, Jacob Lusk, Stefano Langone, and Lauren Alaina performing "Hey Soul Sister" by Train, I have to say that the performance really went good, unlike what happened yesterday where there was a technical mishap with Jacob's performance.

Ryan asked Casey and Jacob to stand up, then he talked to them about the judges' comments the night before. Ryan then announced that Jacob is in the bottom three, and Casey was sent to safety.

The results were followed with David Cook singing "The Last Goodbye" from The Loud Morning, David's second major-label album. The album will be released on 6/28/11.

Casey Abrams, James Durbin, and Scotty McCreery then performed "Viva La Vida" by Coldplay. After their performance, more results. Lauren, James, and Stefano were asked to stand. Lauren and James were both safe, while Stefano was sent to the stools to join Jacob in the Bottom Three. Haley was also sent to the stools to complete the bottom three, and Scotty was safe.

Haley was sent to safety first. After the fillers, Katy Perry performs "E.T." with ouf course, Kanye West from her studio album "Teenage Dream"

On the final part of the show, Stefano Langone was eliminated and Jacob Lusk is safe. James cried because his bestfriend leaves the show.

The Last Girl standing is not announced yet this year, maybe one of these girls will be in the finale. I hope they do two songs next week with their theme Carole King.

AMERICAN IDOL 2011 TOP 7: REVIEW

Last week, Paul was eliminated from the show, who would it be this week?

Again, this week, Scotty will definitely be safe because of the pre-adolescent girls out there, and maybe some adolescents.

The show was opened with the eliminated contestants singing "So What" by Pink. The best performance of the night for me would be Casey's "Harder to Breathe". This time, unlike last week, not all the performances were great. The performance of the night which didn't quite satisfy me was Stefano Langone's "Closer".

MY TOP THREE:
  1. Casey Abrams - "Harder to Breathe" - he definitely did it, he even kissed Jennifer Lopez. After that save, Casey is growing more and more tougher in this competition. His take on the songs are quite scary though, with his facial reactions, and voice.
  2. James Durbin - "Uprising" - I remembered Adam Lambert in his performance.
  3. Lauren Alaina - "Born to Fly" - it wasn't a very famous "KNOWN" song, but I really loved the way she took it.
For Jacob Lusk, what I noticed is that he messed up the lyrics of "Dance with my Father" where maybe, he was fighting back the tears or he doesn't like saying Life removed his innocence, because he went "Back when I was a child... Before *moved away the mic for a moment* all the innocence.

MY BOTTOM THREE:
  • Haley Reinhart - "Rolling in the Deep" - good performance but not good enough. She definitely got the song right, but the way she took it wasn't good enough -in my opinion.
  • Scotty McCreery - "Swingin'" - I've had enough of Country from Scotty. It's time to start taking risks on this phase of the competition, but he would definitely be safe because of the girls out there.
  • Stefano Langone
POSSIBLY GOING HOME: Stefano Langone; he did a very well known song, but he didn't do it in an INTERESTING way. I really want him to stay in the competition, but based on his last performance, I guess it's time for him to leave. We don't know, maybe the tables will turn and it would be Jacob Lusk or Haley Reinhart.

THE RESULTS TOMORROW:
David Cook
will be performing "The Last Goodbye" and Katy Perry will also perform "E.T." Who is Katy's favorite this year, and what do you think will she wear tomorrow?

This week, the American Idol top 7 takes on songs from the 21st Century. A huge differences between each contestants' performances, but who will be the best and who will be eliminated?

Before each performances, the eliminated contestants sung "So What" by Pink, we've seen Paul, Pia, Thia, Naima, Karen, and Ashton.

CHARICE AND PIA TOSCANO DUET ON AMERICAN IDOL

American Idol 9th Placer Pia Toscano will be doing a duet performance with Pinay singer Charice.

The rumored news broke when Pia had her interview with celebrity news site Hollywood.com. She revealed that she would really love to sing with Charice.

“Charice Pempengco? She’s the most amazing singer ever. I would absolutely perform with her, she’s insane,” Pia said.

“When I was covering all of my Celine Dion songs, I would watch her videos,” Pia confessed. “She’s just out-of-this-world amazing and I am such a huge fan of her,” she added.

After Charice performed "All By Myself" on Glee, and Pia covered it during the Top 13, would this be the song they will sing in the finale? Because from the previous seasons, the contestants sing in the finals with the songs they covered on the show before they were eliminated.

WHAT THE AMERICAN IDOL 2011 TOP 7 SHOULD DO FOR "SONGS FROM THE 21st CENTURY"

Next week, after the soft rock singer is Eliminated, the top 7 will be taking on songs from the 21st Century, which is again, not specific. Each contestants will be taking on songs released from 2000 to 2011. Of course, the one who sings something current would get the hearts of the voters, and make him or her stay in the competition.
  • Scotty McCreery - I need something new from him, he has to be alive, so he has to sing something like "American Saturday Night" by Brad Paisley, because for me, he's been boring for the past few weeks, he could sing folk country, but we need something modern, other than that Josh Turner song "Your Man".
  • James Durbin - The only song I see which could do something good to him would be "Thnks fr th Mmrs" by Fall Out Boy. Other than this song, I can't think of any other songs, because I don't see James doing a My Chemical Romance song. Anyways, whatever he does, I'm sure it would turn out great, and people would vote for him, and he won't be in the Bottom Three again this week.
  • Lauren Alaina - she could definitely sing something like "Terrified" by Katharine McPhee. This song would do something good to her since it's still a little current, though it was released in 2010. If she wants to saing country, she could sing "So Small" "Cowboy Casanova" "Undo It" or "Temporary Home" or any of the songs by Carrie Underwood, these songs would also do something good for her and keep her away from the threatening Bottom Three.
  • Casey Abrams - "Breakeven" by The Script. It will be absolutely amazing if he will sing it. "Hey Soul Sister" by Train and "Stay The Night" by James Blunt would also be perfect for his vopice. He doesn't want the judges regretting their save, because that caused Pia's elimination. He better make it to the top five, because the judges would really regret their save. "Heartless" by Kanye West would also change him in this competition, because this song is definitely different from his Genre.
  • Haley Reinhart - I hope she'll do "Mercy" by Duffy. This would be the best song for her voice, but she should do less of the growling, and start to be a little humble, and quit saying "So, it's just the song choice." in a way that she's saying she is too great, but the song she took isn't. Another song would be "So What" by Pink, where I'll think, if ever she did, would receive really good comments from the judges, not only from the song choice, as well as from the performance. Another song I see that would be really awesome for her would be "Battlefield" by our American Idol 2007 winner Jordin Sparks, maybe this would let her grab those Jordin fans during season 6.
  • Jacob Lusk - he should do "Jesus Take The Wheel" by Carrie Underwood and surprise everyone. He has to perform just like the way he performed "God Bless the Child" on Hollywood Week because he is deserving to stay.
  • Stefano Langone - "Let's Just Fall In Love Again" by Jason Castro would be awesome for him. Stefano's performance on TOP 8 was Great, but he had to stop being boring with those songs he's singing. The other great song for him would be "Something 'Bout Love" by David Archuleta or "Haven't Met you Yet" by Michael Buble because they fit his voice perfectly, with a better connection to the audience at home and in the studio.

AMERICAN IDOL 2011 TOP 8: NO MORE SOFT ROCK

Today, one of the American Idols will be going home again. Yesterday, they did songs from the Movies and almost everyone did great, and some of them did it just okay.

The show was opened with Scotty and Lauren performing "American Honey" by Lady Antebellum. They were then both announced safe. Their performance is followed by Haley and Casey's Jazz performance of "Moanin'" by Art Blakey. Haley was sent to the stools and she was the first person in the bottom three.

Rob Reiner features "This Is Spinal Tap" an American 1984 rock musical mockumentary directed by Rob Reiner about the fictional heavy metal band Spinal Tap.

Kelly Clarkson and Jason Aldean then performed "Don't you Wanna Stay" followed by the performance of Jacob, Paul, Stefano, and James with "Sound of Silence" and "Mrs. Robinson" Simon and Garfunkel.

Rihanna performed "California King Bed" before a commercial break, which was followed by the results.

Haley was sent to safety first, and Paul McDonald was eliminated, making Stefano safe.

Finally, a guy is eliminated. Lauren Alina, James Durbin, and Scotty McCreery are still the strongest contestants for they haven't been in the Bottom Three since the show started.

DID AMERICA GET IT RIGHT? PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT.

AMERICAN IDOL 2011 TOP 8: REVIEW

All of what is written here are based on my opinions. After Pia's elimination last week, the results tomorrow would be unpredictable, but Scotty will surely be safe since young girls fell in love with him, and more girls vote for boys than girls voting for girls. This week, the contestants took on Songs from the Cinema, but who did best and who did it just right?

The best performance of the night for me would be James' "Heavy Metal". At first I thought his version would be boring, because this song is so old. Actually, this is the second American Idol performance show of the season where all of them did great, but Haley's "Call Me" was just right. For me, Haley has really grown, and I think she's starting to become an airhead - in my opinion.

MY TOP THREE
  1. James Durbin - "Heavy Metal"
  2. Stefano Langone - "End of the Road"
  3. Lauren Alaina - "The Climb"
MY BOTTOM THREE
  • Paul McDonald
  • Scotty McCreery - but will be safe though his performances each week are getting more boring, and almost like the same.
  • Haley Reinhart
POSSIBLY GOING HOME: Haley Reinhart; I definitely think that she has to leave now. First, because she was really happy with Pia's elimination based on her early reactions. Second, she's always growling, we have to see something new from her. I know it's a good thing sticking with what you can do, but don't always do the same thing every week. This is American Idol!

THE RESULTS TOMORROW:
Rihanna
will be performing tomorrow. Season 1 winner Kelly Clarkson with Jason Aldean will also be performing "Don't you Wanna Stay"

WHAT THE AMERICAN IDOL 2011 TOP 8 SHOULD DO FOR "SONGS OF THE CINEMA"

We all have to move on from what happened. Pia is eliminated.

Next week, the American Idol top 8 will be taking on "Songs of the Cinema" where again, has a large variety of music. Each contestant will be taking on songs which are featuring films. But what would these songs be? Here are my suggestions.

  • Casey Abrams - he was saved three weeks ago, and his fans are making sure that he will make it to the finals. The best song for him to sing would either be "Live and Let Die" by Paul McCartney and Wings from the 1973 film, Live and Let Die or "If God Will Send His Angels" by U2 from the 1998 film City of Angels. Casey should really perform good every week, or the judges will regret the fact of saving him, where I think the sacrifice was Pia Toscano.
  • Haley Reinhart - auditioned on Season 9, but didn't make it to Hollywood. This time, she auditioned, and she made it to the TOP 2 Girls. I think she is safe next week as well as Lauren. For me, she should perform "Fame" by Irene Cara of course from Fame, or "I Remain" by Alanis Morisette from the film Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. She should do less of the growling and show everyone that she doesn't only growl, because with what I see, Pia is more deserving to stay in the competition than her.
  • Stefano Langone - he was expecting that he will be leaving next week, but he didn't, which shocked him, and everyone in the studio, because it was Pia who left. For "Songs of the Cinema" he should do "Across the Universe" by The Beatles from the 1968 film Yellow Submarine or "Leaving on a Jetplane" by Chantal Kreviazuk from the movie Armageddon. Since people voted for him, he should really fight. He has to connect with the audience, the judges, and the people watching at home whenever he is performing, if he really wants to stay longer in the competition.
  • James Durbin - one of the three contestants among the top 8 who was never in the Bottom three. From slowing it down last week, he should be alive this week with "Footloose" by Kenny Loggins from the 1983 film of the same name, Footloose. He could also do "It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll)" by AC/DC which was in the School of Rock soundtrack in 2003.
  • Paul McDonald - the only song I found for him was "Lovesick Blues" by Hank Williams from The Hawshank Redemption, 1994. He could do a soft rock style with "You'll be in my Heart" by Phil Collins from the 1999 Disney movie called Tarzan. I think he will be in the bottom three next week, and I think if he wouldn't do anything good, he will be eliminated.
  • Jacob Lusk - it was his first time to be in the Bottom Three last week, I think because he performed first, and people forgot his performance. This week, he should do some "Can you Feel the Love Tonight" by Elton John from The Lion King and do it better than anyone in the competition. He is one of the people, in my opinion, who deserves to be in the top three.
  • Lauren Alaina - She's one of the strongest three who haven't been in the bottom three since top 13. "Against All Odds (Take A Look At Me Now)" by Phil Collins from the 1985 film of the same name, would be great for her. "To Sir, with love" by Lulu from To Sir, with love would also be cool for her, since she's still a student, everyone can really connect with her performance. This week, I think she will still be safe.
  • Scotty McCreery - I think for everyone in America, he's the winner. Well, he should make everyone proud with this, and based on the polls I see from a lot of American Idol blog sites, he's topping the polls. "Help!" by John Lennon from the 1965 film Help! is not country, but if he's really in the competition, he could improvise this folk rock to country. He could also sing "Heartland" by George Strait from Pure Country which topped the Billboard Hot Country singles in March 1993.

WHAT DO YOU THINK THE TOP 8 SHOULD DO? PLEASE POST A COMMENT.

PIA TOSCANO ELIMINATED: REACTIONS

I don't know how it happened but she didn't deserve to leave. Jacob doesn't also deserve to be in the bottom three!

LIVE REACTIONS:

Even her fellow contestants were shocked for her departure, as well as Stefano, who was I think, really ready to leave.

THE JUDGES SPEAK:
So Ryan asked the judges about What they think is going on. Here are their answers.

Jennifer Lopez: "I have no idea. I have no idea what just happened here. I'm shocked. I'm angry. I don't even know what to say."

Randy Jackson: "I'm with Jennifer, and I think with Steven. I think we're all in shock, I mean, you're one of the best singers in this, I mean you know what I'm sayin'? and yo yo yo yo, by the way Ryan, we said it last night, no one is ever safe, if you thought that she was safe, look at where she is now... you didn't vote, so you got to vote for whom ever you love, dude, I mean, I'm never upset on this show, and I'm never really mad, but this, like, makes me mad, it's like what is going on?"

Steven Tyler: I don't know America Man, mistake is one thing, but lack of passion is unforgivable... they're wrong. I don't know what happened with this. She's beautiful when she sings, she's a bird."

AMERICAN IDOL 2011 TOP 9: THE SHOCKING RESULTS NIGHT

Last year, nobody was expecting Siobhan Magnus' departure after she received good comments from the judges with her performance of "Any Man of Mine" on Shania Twain week.

This year, who would expect that this Idol contestant would leave earlier than Paul McDonald, Haley Reinhart, and Stefano Langone?

So now, the question is would she beat the American idol winner this year? Hopefully, she will. Other questions that tickled my mind would be WHERE ARE YOU BASING YOUR VOTES? WHY WAS SHE ELIMINATED? WHY CAN'T THE JUDGES DECIDE WHO WILL BE ELIMINATED BETWEEN THE BOTTOM 2 FOR A FAIR GAME TO THE BETTER SINGERS IN THE COMPETITION?

Other than being the shocking results night, this is the most boring results night.

The guest of the night was Constantine Maroulis singing "Unchained Melody" and Iggy Pop singing "Wild Child"

Stefano was the first one to be in the bottom three, while Casey Abrams and Lauren Alaina were the first ones to be sent to safety. Pia followed Stefano in the bottom three, while Paul McDonald and Scotty McCreery were sent to safety. It was Jacob Lusk who completed the bottom three, making Haley and James safe.

The last part of the show was really shocking because it was announced that Pia Toscano is the one eliminated.

THE TOP 8 with Pia, Thia, Naima, Karen, and Ashton.

Who is happy about the results now? Not Ryan Seacrest. Not the judges. Not Pia's fans. Not the Americans who voted for other contestants but loved her.

Two girls left, and the guys still strong with none of them being eliminated.

Did America get it right? NO. PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT

AMERICAN IDOL 2011 TOP 9: REVIEW

This is the best Night of American Idol so far, because everyone did their songs nicely. The top 9 took on songs by the artists from the "Rock n Roll Hall of Fame" and each of them had their personal song choice, which all turned out pretty well. America will really have a hard time choosing which person will be eliminated tomorrow.

REVIEW:

The best among the best performances tonight would be Jacob Lusk's "Man in the Mirror" and really nailed it. The one wasn't able to be the best among the bests was Stefano Langone. Yes, he did the song beautifully, and it was a "more connected" Stefano, but the other contestants did their songs really, really well that his performance, in my opinion didn't have a chance to stand out.

MY TOP THREE
  1. Jacob Lusk - Man in the Mirror
  2. Lauren Alaina - (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman
  3. Pia Toscano - River deep, Mountain High
MY BOTTOM THREE
  • Casey Abrams
  • Paul McDonald
  • Stefano Langone
POSSIBLY GOING HOME: Stefano Langone; this opinion is based on how I found America vote for contestants.

THE RESULTS TOMORROW:
Tomorrow, Constantine Maroulis will be performing "Unchained Melody" and of course, one of the American Idol finalists will be going home. Who would it be?
