AMERICAN IDOL 2012: TOP 9 REVIEW

The Top 9 has taken on the stage and most of them satisfied me with their awesome performances. I'll be saying a little not-good things, but they still did good. Here we go.

  1. Elise Testone - Whole Lotta Love - Great! Great! Great Performance! This girl is really starting to rise from her tomb in the bottom three, and that started last week. I'm glad that she's getting more fans because she deserves to stay longer. People has to vote for the voice, not for the face, and not for the age.
  2. Heejun Han - A Song For You - Finally! Heejun Han! These are the songs you should be singing! The judges gave him a standing ovayion because he really gave it his best, and hopefully, he will bring himself to the top 3. He has a very soft, buttery voice, just like what I say every week, and let's hope that he will stay longer.
  3. Phillip Phillips - Still Rainin' - The song was a little bit unfamiliar, but he did a great job. He has a reat style, and the way he performed it was simple, but is still a big hit. Also one of the contestants with the best potentials to win this year.
  4. Jessica Sanchez - Sweet Dreams - Didn't feel her that much, her performance was great, it was original, but if she did it a little faster or upbeat, I would've loved it more. Anyways, we all know that she's the one who has the most numbe of fans and potentials to win this year, so I can't say anything against her. She gained more confidence, and I'm glad that she did.
  5. Skylar Laine - Gunpowder and Lead - Love that Miranda Lmbert inside her. It's a big song for her, but she still did it. Great job, and these are the songs that she should be singing. She rocked that stage, and she will definitely continue rockin' it out, because America will surely put her through.
  6. Joshua Ledet - Without You - He did another great job. He gave justice to the song, the song definitely gave justice to his voice. Great guy.
  7. Hollie Cavanagh - Jesus, Take the Wheel - The judges were a little bit hard on her, but I have to agree, she must have picked another song, something bigger, and something that would really show her range. She was a little uncomfortable with the song, based on what I observed. I hope she's gonna pick a better song next time, because I want her to win.
  8. Colton Dixon - Everything - Average performance. His erformance last week is hard to follow. It was a little flat, and a little boring, but he still carried on. He has the potentils to win the competition but not with a song like this, so next time, he should pick a better son, and perform it with all that he got on stage.
  9. DeAndre Brackensick - Sometimes I Cry - For the past few weeks, he's been boring. I hope he's gonna pick a better song next week, if ever he's gonna survive tomorrow's cut, which I have doubts on.
GROUP PERFORMANCES:
They all did a great job, but the best trio were Colton, Phillip, and Elise.

BOTTOM THREE (Based on How America Vote): DeAndre Brackensick, Joshua Ledet, Skylar Laine
ELIMINATED CONTESTANT: DeAndre, and the judges will not save him.

That's it. What do you think about their performances? Comment.

AMERICAN IDOL 2012: THE TOP 10 WEEK REVIEW

First of all, I apologize for not doing a live blog this week, next week, I'm sure I can do one.

So, the top 10 has taken on the stage with Billy Joel songs, and Tommy Hilfiger fashion. Erika van Pelt was eliminated, and that really shocked me. Heejun Han was in the bottom two, as well as DeAndre, and I was expecting DeAndre toreally go, but he didn't. Now, I'm still gonna review their performances and rank them from the best to good, or the best to worst.

  1. Colton Dixon - Piano Man - Really great rendition, I got hooked with his performance that I watched it again and again over the internet. His song choice was also the best of the night, and I have to say that he's really fighting for a spot in the top three. He was with the piano the whole performance and that's what made it really cool, because he still sang it perfectly.
  2. Phillip Phillips - Movin' Out - His performance was great, same with Colton's. They both showed what they can really do. He is also one of the contestants who can stand on his own, and he does the things that he wants to do with simplicity and uniqueness.
  3. Jessica Sanchez - Everybody Has a Dream - This girl had a dream, and now it'scoming true, all she has to do now is to gain more confidence so that she canmake it to the finale. Her performance was awesome.
  4. Hollie Cavanagh - Honesty - At first, I was really scared for her because she picked this song, but when she started singing, she got me. Shes a great singer, and i disagree with all the judges' negative comments. I don't think those comments are for this performance.
  5. Elise Testone - Vienna - I'm really glad that she sang another great song, and I'm really glad that she's getting better and better each week. Next time, she should do better so people are still gonna put her through.
  6. Erika Van Pelt - New York State of Mind - This girl is not a New Yorker, but she sang it like she's one. She really did great, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of her. Unfortunately, she got eliminated. America is trippin'!
  7. Heejun Han - My Life - His performance wasn't that great, but I'm gonna give points because he took the risk. It was a different him, but it would have been better if he showed us that side with a different song. He should do better next week, because Heejun is really one of the best contestants this season. HE IS A STAR!
  8. Joshua Ledet - She's Got a Way - I didn't quite get his performance, his performance last week is a really hard thing to follow. I think he didn't get the chance to sing a better song because the theme is too isolated.
  9. Skylar Laine - Shameless - For the past three live shows, she was really doing great, that she gets me everytime she performs, what happened this week? I like her, and I want to hear more of her, so next time, I suggest that she should be more careful with her song choice, but I can't blame her because really, this week's theme is just Billy Joel.
  10. DeAndre Brackensick - Only the Good Die Young - Not the best way to open a performance. From the previous weeks, this was the worst opening performance of all. It was just boring. I don't know.

RESULTS SHOW
Haley Reinhart - Free - Awesome! She's back, and now she has a single. I loved her performance, and I think she has to record more records.

Lana del Ray - Love her!

AMERICAN IDOL 2012: WHAT TO DO WITH ONE EXTRA WEEK?

What will Idol do now? They are scheduled to air until May 23, but they lack one contestant.

First, I think that if the judges will save a person, there will still be one person eliminated after that week, and not two.

Second, maybe they could add one week for Idol Gives Back if ever they're going to have it this week.

Third, they could ask one of the contestants to come back, either one from the people who got eliminated in the semi-finals, or they'll just choose between Shannon, and Jeremy.

What do you think should they do? Comment.

AMERICAN IDOL 2012: TOP 11 REVIEW

The top 12 performed last Wednesday and now here's y review because I wasn't able to post anything that day because of schoolwork. Here we go.

  1. Joshua Ledet - When a Man Loves a Woman - Best performance of the night! I can't believe he was in the bottom three last week, but I'm glad that he won't be there this time. He did a really awesome job, I even went closer to the television because I was enjoying it too much, and like JLo, I can't stop saying WOW!
  2. Hollie Cavanagh - The Power of Love - They saved the bests for last. She did it again, the way she won my heart - or our hearts - last week. I'm glad that she chose this song, because once again, it showed her range, and it wasn't as boring as any of the other performances of the night. Good Job Hollie!
  3. Colton Dixon - Broken Heart - The song is not known, but he still did it. I listened to the original song, and his version was better. This guy is going really far in the competition. That's all.
  4. Skylar Laine - Love Sneakin' on You - This girl can sing anything, just like I said for how many times now. I didn't like the song choice because I wanted her to do something which is more known, ut still I like her voice, and it fits almost any song she sings.
  5. Elise Testone - Let's Stay Together - Awesome performance! I didn't like the song choice, but it really showed her voice, so I'll just let the song choice go. Great redemption from her performance last week.
  6. Shannon Magrane - One Sweet Day - Awesome redemption from her performance last week, it;s a big song, but she still hit it. Comparing to her performance last week, this is way, way, way, way better. Let's just hope that she's not in the bottom three because you know how America votes.
  7. Phillip Phillips - Hard to Handle - I really enjoyed his performance, however, wrong song choice again. I don't know why he chose this song, and I don't get the way he performed it. He has a great voice, and that's all I have to say.
  8. Jessica Sanchez - Turn the Beat Around - I have to agree with the judges that it's the wrong song choice for her. I'll just say she has a really great voice, and I know she'll make it through. It's just not the right song for her. She could have picked a Michael Jackson, or a Mariah song.
  9. Erika Van Pelt - Heaven - I don't know why she chose this song, she could've chosen something rock just like what everybody's expecting her to do. I love her voice, but she should pick songs which could really showcase that.
  10. DeAndre Brackensick - Endless Love - His performance was a little boring, I don't know why. I liked his version of Master Blaster better, especially its studio version. I hope he starts doing more exciting ongs because that's what America wants, a song which will make them stand from their seat because of excitement, and goosies.
  11. Heejun Han - Right Here Waiting - The most horrible song choice of the night. I like Heejun's voice but he really need to start thinking about his song choice. He should be wiser, because if he's gonna keep picking the wrong song choices, he's surely going home. Randy saying that he's in trouble just made his fans double the effort of voting for him, but I think he really deserves another chance. He's my favorite, but I'm just disappointed with the song choice.

What do you think about their performances? Comment.

AMERICAN IDOL 2012: WHAT THE TOP 12 SHOULD SING FOR "SONGS FROM THE YEAR THEY WERE BORN" WEEK

This week, the American Idol 2012 top 12 will be taking on songs from the year they were born, before I suggest, here are their birthdays:

  • Colton Dixon – October 19, 1991
  • Deandre Brackensick – October 21, 1994
  • Elise Testone – July 29, 1983
  • Erika Van Pelt – December 12, 1985
  • Heejun Han – April 20, 1989
  • Hollie Cavanagh – July 5, 1993
  • Jermaine Jones – November 3, 1986
  • Jessica Sanchez – August 4, 1995
  • Joshua Ledet – April 9, 1992
  • Phillip Phillips – September 20, 1990
  • Shannon Magrane – October 21, 1995
  • Skylar Laine – February 1, 1994

Now, I'll suggest songs from the oldest to the youngest contestant. Here we go...

1983
Elise Testone - "Total Eclipse of the Heart" by Bonnie Tyler
I'm not really sure what to suggest to her, I found only a few good songs which really fits her voice from this year, and "Total Eclipse of the Heart" is the best among those songs. I think she will really put a good twist into the song with her voie, and I definitely think that she has bigger chances of making it to the Top 11 if she will do a song like this.

1985
Erika Van Pelt - "Freeway of Love" by Aretha Franklin
I was thinking "We Built This City" at first, but if EVP would sing that song, it would only sound karaoke, so I suggest that she takes on this song. The song would definitely showcase the rockstar in her, and hopefully, with this song, she will not end up in the bottom three because I think that it would be memorable.

1986
Jermaine Jones - "My Hometown" by Bruce Springsteen
If he wants to stay in the competition, I think he should put a twist to a song just like this one. It's a rock song, and it's gonna be hard for him, but if he sings it like it's his own, I'm sure that it would definitely sound good.

1989
Heejun Han - "If You Don't Know Me By Now" by Simply Red
Heejun has a really soulful, soft, buttery voice, and that voice deserves a song just like this one which was covered by Simply Red on his birth year. This is the song that best fits him, or maybe if he wants to do omething upbeat, he can definitely put a twist to Paula Abdul's song "Straight Up" the way Andrew Garcia did two years ago. We'll just see.

1990
Phillip Phillips - "Praying for Time" by George Michael
This is more of a challenge than a suggestion. I have to say that when I heard his studio version of "Superstition" last week, it didn't gave me the excitement which he given me when he performed on the Idol stage, so this week, I just want him to do this song, and we'll see if he could really connect with any song. I'd say he is a great singer, but there's just no connection.

1991
Colton Dixon - "Black or White" by Michael Jackson
It's the best song for one of the best singers in the competition. This guy can definitely do another twist to this song the way he did with his song last week. "Black or White" was rocked out by Adam Lambert on season 8, let's see if he can do better, if ever he's gonna take on this song.

1992
Joshua Ledet
"Don't Let The Sun Go Down on Me" by Elton John or "End of the Road" by Boyz II Men
He will definitely take America with him if he does one of those two songs. There were many great music in 1992, but these songs would really showcase Joshua's voice and save him from being in the bottom 3. Well, it was actually bottom 6 last time, but who knows?

1993
Hollie Cavanagh - "Hero" or "Dreamlover" by Mariah Carey
"Hero" has been covered many times on Idol, and if this girl sings it, she has to do her best to make her version the best among all the Idol contestants who covered the song. Maybe, if she wants to do something that would really show people that she an do anything, she should just do "Dreamlover" and own it.

1994
Skylar Laine - "Independence Day" by Martina MacBride or "Piece of My Heart" by Faith Hill
The girl was forced to come out of her roots last week, so this week, let's give her a chance to sing something country. For a slow song, she could take on "Independence Day" because it is one of the best songs ever written, and I definitely think it's for her voice, or if she wants to bring that rockstar with her on stage, she could do "Piece of my Heart." She can do anything, and I think she's one of the best singers this year.

DeAndre Brackensick - "On Bended Knee" by Boyz II Men
DeAndre has a great voice, and that voice deserves a song like this one. That's all.

1995
Jessica Sanchez - "Earth Song" by Michael Jackson
This girl has a big voice, and everyone is saying that she should win. Well, I said that she can sing anything, and she proved that to us for the past weeks. This week, I want her to sing this song because I want her to be inspired and be more confident. Well, she is confident performing, but after that, she will act like she didn't know that she did good. Just confidence.

Shannon Magrane - "One of Us" by Joan Osborne
This girl can sing, and I think she can rock it out this week with "One of Us." It talks about God, and I just see her singing something inspirational, she should also take on softer songs because it really shows us what kind of artist she is.

WHAT'S UP THIS WEEK?
Daughtry will be performing, the top 12 will become top 11, and the Judges' Save may be used from this week until the top 5.

WHAT DO YOU THINK SHOULD THEY SING? Comment.

AMERICAN IDOL 2012: TOP 13 REVIEW

The top 13 has performed for Whitney and Stevie, now I'm gonna comment on their performances. I'd say half of them did a good job, but some picked the wrong songs so... just read. Here we go...
  1. Phillip Phillips - "Superstition" - Awesome! Great! Perfect! He's in it to win it, and I agree with Jimmy, the show really needs him. His performances looks so simple but he's really doing a great job delivering them. He's just really great I don't know what else to say.
  2. Hollie Cavanagh - "All The Man That I Need" - Perfect! Just Perfect! Hollie Cavanagh is the one! She really did a great job with the performance and she is really likeable, and adorable. She showed us her range again with that performance, and I really just love her. I think we're gonna see her for a longer time, and I think America will really be keeping her because she can really make great records.I love her accent too.
  3. Skylar Laine - "Where Do Brokenhearts Go" - first of all, I would like to say that I'm glad that she did this song, because I suggested it; secondly, I think she did a really great job with her performance; Third, she has a really great voice and range; Lastly, she's in it to win it.
  4. Heejun Han - "All In Love is Fair" - Another awesome performance from the best comedian on Idol. Vocals were good, song choice wasgood, and stage presence was good. So overall, it was great! I think he's really doing a great job, but next time, I want him to sing something a little upbeat. This guy is gonna stay for a long time in the competition, and I'm sure that he's gonna be safe this week.
  5. Jessica Sanchez - "I Will Always Love You" - This girl really held nothing back, and she definitely pulled it off. One of the best performances of the night, and I'm glad that she did this song because it definitely showcased her vocals. Jessica is one of the contestant with the most flexible voices ever, I think she can sing anything, but her voice is kind of common. I just want more confidence, because I think she's a different person when she's not performing.
  6. Jeremy Rosado - "Ribbon in the Sky" - I see tears in JLo's eyes again. I think this guy is really doing a great job performing for America because he has a really great performance. I don't know why Randy said that but I think it's really a great performance. Maybe next time, he just has to be more careful about picking his songs.
  7. Joshua Ledet - "I Wish" - It was the natural him, and I think he did a great job. America did a good job voting him to the top 13 because he really deserves it. That performance was really energetic and I definitely think that he should do more of this for him to stay longer.
  8. Colton Dixon - "Lately" - At first, I thought his performance wouldn't turn out good with that song, and if ever he's gonna pull it off, it's gonna be just average, but I have to say that his performance was really awesome. Coolest version of "Lately" that would really make America vote for him.
  9. Jermaine Jones - "Knocks Me Off My Feet" - Great job with the song choice. I'm glad he didn't do an upbeat song because I definitely thik that it would only put him in the bottom. I tink we'll be seeing this guy for a little while with that song, and I just hope America agrees with me because that is Jermaine's best performance ever.
  10. Elise Testone - "I'm Your Baby Tonight" - Good vocals, but wrong song. I don't really see Elise doing this kind of song, but I just want to say that she really pulled it off with her vocals, next time, maybe she just has to be careful about picking her song.
  11. DeAndre Brackensick - "Master Blaster (Jammin')" - I didn't really get his performance, but I think he did a great job. I'm confused, I don't know what to say. I didn't just get it. I just hope he's gonna do something different the next time because I know he'll make it through.
  12. Erika Van Pelt - "I Believe in You and Me" - Just so-so. I'm not really sure about her song choice though. It's wrong, it's right? I don't know, but I believe in this girl, and I believe that she can do better than that. I hope America will give her another chance because I know she can do. I wanna tell her that she should never waste the spot she got because it's gonna be a really big loss.
  13. Shannon Magrane - "I Have Nothing" - Big mistake on the song choice. This song was covered by most of the amazing Reality Singing Competition contestants such as Melanie Amaro, and with her performance, she just lost it. I don't know why she did a song this big, but I absolutely think that this song is the kind of song that she shouldn't touch.

BOTTOM 2
GIRL: Erika Van Pelt
GUY: Jermaine Jones

JUDGES WILL ELIMINATE: Jermaine Jones

TOMORROW America's Lucky 13 will become 12. Lauen Alaina will be performing a song, and I think it's "Georgia Peaches."

AMERICAN IDOL 2012: THE ELIMINATION PROCESS FOR THE TOP 13

From the previous seasons, America had regrets about not voting for their favorite contestants, but this year, there has been a little shift with the elimination process.

Before that, let's go back to all the seasons with the most shocking eliminations:

Season 5: Chris Daughtry
Season 8: Danny Gokey
Season 9: Siobhan Magnus
Season 10: Casey Abrams' elimination for the Top 11, and Pia Toscano

For the top 13 results night, the guy and the girl who gets the lowest number of votes will be in the bottom two. Between those two, the judges will be choosing who to eliminate. It seems really fair now. But I hope they will use this elimination process until the Top 5 at least to make it really fair, and to give chances to those who are not judges' favorites.

What do you think about this elimination process? Do you think they should use it for a long time on the show? Comment

AMERICAN IDOL 2012: WHAT THE TOP 13 SHOULD SING FOR STEVIE/WHITNEY WEEK

The top 13 has been formed, thanks to your votes, and to the judges' wildcards. Well, first thing's first, I'm disappointed that some of the good ones didn't make it, but I guess everyone in the top 13 did a good job to secure their spot, so I'm really happy for all of them.

So next week, the guys will be honoring Stevie Wonder, while the girls will pay tribute to Whitney Houston.

BOYS:

I'll be suggesting for the guys first, and when you talk about covering a Stevie song, you shouldn't sing "Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours," or "For Once in my life" because they are two hard songs to cover, you should be original or it will only sound karaoke. Now let's start.

  • Joshua Ledet - "Superstition" - Now before anyone would say anything, I know this song is so overused, but I just want Joshua to pull it off, and this is a great song that he can use to move around the stage, and get everybody to stand up and move on their seats. Joshua has a great voice, all he needs now is the entertainment value.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CFuCYNx-1g
  • Jeremy Rosado - No favoritism, I think he can sing anything. He has a voice that is flexible to almost any song, so I'm not gonna pick for him, I'll just let him do the picking, and let him deliver as best as he could the way he did it in his Wildcard performance.
  • Jermaine Jones - anything that's not upbeat - I don't know which Stevie song fits this big guy, but whatever that song is, I'm sure it's not an upbeat song. I'm suggesting that he should never take on an upbeat song, because his voice is simply just for slow, emotiuonal, ballad.
  • DeAndre Brackensick - "We Can Work It Out" - He can definitely sing the whole song in flasetto. I think he can nail this one, not only that, I think America can start appreciating his range with this song. It's an up-tempo song and I know he can definitely work it out with America. If ever he's not gonna pick this song, I hope he's gonna pick an upbeat one.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zB24z00ajU4
  • Colton Dixon - "Living for the City" - We will see if this guy can really can rock it out, and the perfect song to show that is "Living for the City." This guy doesn't need to change anything yet, because what he's doing is still selling, so let's stick to what he can do. If they're allowed to take on songs not originally by Stevie Wonder, I think he can sing "Light My Fire" which originated from The Doors, and was only covered by Steveie Wonder.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rc0XEw4m-3w
  • Heejun Han - "Heaven Help us All" or "Part-Time Lover" - I think Heejun will really have a hard time picking his song this week, and I have to say that he can sing "Heaven Help Us All" but I'm not sure with the song whether he can nail it, and make it his own, but I'm sure, with "Part-Time Lover" he can make everyone move, and sing along with him. Both songs can showcase his soulful and buttery voice.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jN2AdOjI4FI
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_gOLnLz9KjY
  • Phillip Phillips - "Overjoyed" - If it's Phillip, he can take on any song, and make it his own. He has one of the unique voices in the competition, and with a known Stevie song, I think he can take America along with him while he sings this very beautiful song. Unlike the two songs I mentioned before I started suggesting, this song wouldn't sound karaoke though it will, for others.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkWQTAU3JzI

GIRLS:

Now, let's go with Whitney Houston songs for the girls.
  • Jessica Sanchez - "I Will Always Love You" - Just the perfect voice for the theme this week. Jessica Sanchez definitely can sing any Whitney song, she can go slow, she can go fast, she can almost do everything with her voie. With that, I have to say that she doesn't have to hold back, and she should sing "I Will Always Love You" and really hit it, own it, and win over America. One of the youngest contestants this year, but also one of the contestants with the biggest, greatest voices.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3JWTaaS7LdU&ob=av2n
  • Shannon Magrane - "Greatest Love of All" - Last week, she had us with her very inspiring song, and this week, I think she can continue inspiring us with one of Whitney's golden records, "Greatest Love of All." This girl has the ability to really connect with a song, and I know that she will be able to get into our hearts everytime she sings something inspirational.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYzlVDlE72w&ob=av2e
  • Skylar Laine - "Where do Brokenhearts Go" - I don't really know which song should this girl sing, but if she could do a country twist to "Where Do Brokenhearts Go," it will defintely sound like her. She can also make the song upbeat and rock it out just like what she did last week. This girl is really a Tina Turner mixed with Reba. She also has one of the personalities in the competition.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=diToYaNJadk
  • Erika Van Pelt - "Queen of the Night" - This girl can really rock it our in every performance she does, and America has to start appreciating that. She almost went home last week, but with her really beautiful, rockin' voice, the judges decided to save her. I think this song can definitely give justice to her voice, and I think this song will make America appreciate what this girl really can do.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0hQEw4MXpY
  • Elise Testone - "Heartbreak Hotel" - With one of the greatest voice in the competition, I think Elise Testone can definitely take on a song which perfectly fits her voice. She should really connect with the song and show everyone what other things she has there. She should be careful not to lose her tone, and she should also try to not shake things up when she gets into a song.

  • Hollie Cavanagh - "I Have Nothing" - Hollie showed us her range last week, and with that, I think she's ready to take on a big song like this one. It's an overused song, but hopefully, Hollie can make it her own, and really show everyone that she wants it. With this golden record, I think she will really sell her voice, and make America vote for her. I just really wanna hear her sing this song, and definitely, America would love her rendition.

AMERICAN IDOL 2012: TOP 12 GIRLS REVIEW

Tonight they let it all out, and just like what I did yesterday, I'll be reviewing theeir performances based on my opinion and tell you who are my picks, and who are the people I think are America's picks. Here we go!

1. Elise Testone - One and Only - BEST PERFORMANCE OF THE NIGHT! I hope America's going to put her through. She started with the piano, and she was doing great, and when she stood up, she did greater, and in the end, it was concluded, she is one of the best this season, and she's hopefully really going to sell records in the future.

2. Hollie Cavanagh - Reflection - Amazing, Beautiful, Awesome performance! This girl has it the full package, she is beautiful, she has the voice, and she has a good personality. She was able to show us her range in the performance, and I know ith that, she'll make it through the top 13.

3. Jessica Sanchez - Love You I Do - she has a really great voice, which I first heard on the final two rounds before the semi-finals. I think everybody likes her, and I think people will put her through the top 13. She has an amazing range.

4. Skylar Laine - Stay With Me - Very, very, very amazing performance. This girl can really sing country. I think she already has a chance of making it to the top 13 with that amazing voice of hers.

5. Shannon Magarane - Go Light your World - her performance moved me, and I think sme people, and that is the best way to sing a song because you knew that she really connected to it. She did a really good job, and I hope that she'll be able to continue on her journey here on Idol.

6. Brielle Von Hugel - Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay - If I didn't hear Haley there, I wouldn't like her performance, because I simply just don't like this girl, especially her personality. But I have to admit that she really did great tonight.

7. Chelsea Sorrell - Cowboy Casanova - That was a very fun, make-you-stand-up-and-join-in performance from this girl. I never knew this girl until this moment maybe because I'm too focused with the other contestants, but I think she really did a great job. I have to say that she doesn't look like a ountry girl, but she sounds just like one.

8. Hallie Day - Feeling Good - the song didn't give her justice, I hear this on Idol every year, I think during these rounds, they should pick better songs that they can own. She did deliver, but I just don't like the song choice, I still want her to make it through though.

9. Jen Hirsh - One and Only- good song choice, but I'm still looking for something. If she knew that she's gonna perform a song which will be performed by somebody elses, she should've put a little more effort with it. She has a great voice, but I think she has to stick to strong performances that will make people remember her because this is just the top 24.

10. Haley Johnsen - Sweet Dreams - I think she had a great performance, that gave a mysterious vibe to everyone, but I think it's not enough to put her through to the top 13. Among all the contestants, I think she's one of the people ho didn't receive much attention during the earlier rounds, and that is a problem.

11. Ericka Van Pelt - What About Love - I really thought she was gonna rock it out, but I think she didn't. That's not EVP I heard there, because there's just something missing, maybe some connection with the song, I don't know. I love her and I hope they still put her through because I want to see her show everyone what she really can do.

12. Baylie Brown - Amazed - I know that wasn't her best, but her performance for me was boring, I didn't like it one bit. That's all I have to say.

MY TOP 5 PICKS (Based on what I think they can do in the future): Hollie Cavanagh, Elise Testone, Shannon Magrane, Skylar Laine, Jessica Sanchez

TOP 5 PICKS OF AMERICA (based on how I see them vote every season): Hollie Cavanagh, Jessica Sanchez, Shannon Magrane, Skylar Laine, Brielle Von Hugel

WILDCARD (If they won't make it): Elise Testone, Jen Hirsh, Chelsea Sorrell
