AMERICAN IDOL 2012: TOP 4 REVIEW AND ELIMINATION PREDICTION

We just heard the clash of the contestants with the biggest voices this season on American Idol, well, I'll be ranking their performances from best to the so-so. I'll also make my predictions, and what I have to say to each contestant.

California Dreamin'

  1. Joshua Ledet - You Raise Me Up - After waiting for a long time, I finally liked Joshua's performance, he didn't oversing it for me this time, and that's the moment I've been waiting for throughout the season. Great job Joshua!
  2. Hollie Cavanagh - Faithfully - I think she did great, it was smooth, her range was awesome. Better than her second song, and hopefully, this will help her make it to the hometown visit, and get a spot in the top 3.
  3. Jessica Sanchez - Steal Away - It's an old song, but Jessica still nailed it. She may not have reached the top for this round, but she still stood out. Her great vocals and personality has made her what she is now, and she deserves to be in the top 3.
  4. Phillip Phillips - Have You Ever Seen The Rain - He did great, too. It's not a so-so, this is the first time I liked Phillip, but he didn't still make it to the top of my list because I think the others stood out better.
Wishin'
  1. Jessica Sanchez - And I Am Telling You... - I knew it! Jessica will never let go of a song like this one before this season ends. She really did great, and it was a great way to close the show!
  2. Joshua Ledet - It's a Man's Man's World - He din't oversing it, and I liked it again. Joshua did a great job tonight.
  3. Hollie Cavanagh - I Can't Make You Love Me - The judges may not have loved her performance, but for me, it was great. Her voice was just a little rough for this song, but I have to say that she still great.
  4. Phillip Phillips - Volcano - His voice was a little dead, but since his performance was smooth, I have nothing else to say.
Overall:
  1. Joshua Ledet - I may have been a little hard on Joshua for the past few weeks, but for thsi week, I have to say that he really did great.
  2. Jessica Sanchez - It's kind of the first time that she reached the top of my list for the second round of the performance night, and that's a great achievement. I love Jessica, and I hope she'll be safe.
  3. Hollie Cavanagh - Awesome! Just awesome! She may have failed to deliver tonight, but her voice, her range, her personality, just really lovable. I hope she will survive tomorrow's elimination, because she is really y favorite for this season.
  4. Phillip Phillips - I think this guy still did great though he's in the bottom of my list. He'll surely make it because of his awesomeness, and sexiness. We'll just see.
My Top 3: Hollie Cavanagh, Jessica Sanchez, Phillip Phillips
Possible Top 3: Jessica, Joshua, and Phillip

Who do you think will go home for the tour? We'll see, so stay tuned for a live blog tomorrow!

AMERICAN IDOL 2012: FROM THE TOP 5 TO THE TOP 4 - RESULTS

Time goes by fast, there were 25 contestants who had the chance of living their dream, they were cut to 13, 10 will go on tour, and 3 will be having a hometown visit. Before that, we must find out which of the five contestants left will still have the chance of having that hometown visit.

Tonight, we find out who gets a spot in the top 4 to fight for a spot in the top 3 and go back to their hometown. Carrie Underwood and Coldplay will also perform tonight.

Bottom 2:

  • Hollie Cavanagh
  • Skylar Laine
Eliminated:
  • Skylar Laine - I'm sick of Joshua oversinging and the judges overrating. My prediction was right, it's either Skylar or Joshua, but I really think it's time for Joshua to go home.
American Idol 2012 Top 4
  • Joshua Ledet
  • Phillip Phillips
  • Jessica Sanchez
  • Hollie Cavanagh
Was America's decision right? Or is this the fourth time in a row that they tripped and didn't vote for the right one?

AMERICAN IDOL 2012: TOP 5 PERFORMANCES REVIEW

The top 5 has taken on the stage with Songs from the 60's and songs by British artists. For me, this performance night is one of the best performance nights ever! They all did good, a great battle between the voices fighting for a spot in the top 4. At this point, we may say anything can happen, but there's nothing wrong about making predictions, and once again, I'll be ranking them from the best to good, and give my comments. Let's begin!

60's Hits:

  1. Hollie Cavanagh - River Deep, Mountain High - First and foremost, round 1 goes to her, second, America better put her through to the top 4 because she really proved that she's worthy, and third, that performance is now on the list of her best performances this season. She did a really great job, I'm happy for her, her pitch was perfect, I really hope America puts her through.
  2. Skylar Laine - Fortunate Son - Well, that was fun! I love it when Skylar performs like that, going around the stage, shaking, and doing little hops. She did really great, I loved it. Let's all hope that she'll also be safe because based on that performance, this girl's not giving up, well, they're all not giving up, but we just really have to listen.
  3. Phillip Phillips - The Letter - Another shoulder-shrugging performance from PP. It wasn't boring, he didn't look like he was struggling, and he did great, but I'm still not sure if that made him 100 percent safe, because he's never been in the bottom 3 before.
  4. Jessica Sanchez - Proud Mary - For me, she looked a little bit awkward dancing, and I'll also say that she needs to add a little more energy, and hop a lot more, maybe headbang even harder. Great vocals though, but Jessica's not for upbeat performances because I think she can't dance along.
  5. Joshua Ledet - Ain't Too Proud To Beg - For the past weeks, we see the judges overrate this over-singing contestant. His performance was just so-so for me because of the oversinging, I don't know America, I have nothing more to say about this performance.

Brits:

  1. Hollie Cavanagh - Bleeding Love - Both performances were great. She sang the song with great emotion, and I hope America saw that. She has to be safe tomorrow, because she is worthy and she proved it.
  2. Jessica Sanchez - You Are So Beautiful - This was way better than her first performance. She stuck to what she can do, and I think she's better that way. I may have been suggesting upbeat songs for her, but after that Proud Mary performance, I know that she is better sticking to what she really is. She did great.
  3. Skylar Laine - You Don't Have To Say You Love Me - I haven't seen that softness in Skylar, and though a lot of people hated her performance, I think she did really great. Sometimes, I really don't get people, they say they're tired of contestants the same thing every week, but when they do something different, they won't like it... Just listen people!
  4. Joshua Ledet - To Love Somebody - He wasn't oversinging it at first, then he started to. It may have been better if he just kept it smooth and soft. I hate it when he oversings because he sounds like a... hahahahaha, sorry.
  5. Phillip Phillips - Time of the Season - Average. Mediocore performance. There was no spark. He didn't amke magic happen. His vocals were great, but he should've picked a song which is in his range.

Overall:

  1. Hollie Cavanagh
  2. Skylar Laine
  3. Jessica Sanchez
  4. Phillip Phillips
  5. Joshua Ledet

BOTTOM 3: Joshua Ledet, Skylar Laine, Jessica Sanchez
ELIMINATED: Joshua Ledet, and a little feeling that it's Skylar Laine.

Who do you think stood out? WHo will be eliminated tomorrow?

AMERICAN IDOL 2012: SUGGESTIONS AND CHALLENGE FOR THE TOP 5

First, I'm not really sure what British-themed music are, but I'm sure they are songs from Birtish artists. This week, I'll be suggesting and challenging again for the top 5. Before I'll suggest, I think the week would've been much better if Elise and Colton were still in the competition, because they'll surely know what songs to sing for this week's theme. Now, let's begin!

Skylar Laine
SUGGESTION: Come Together by The Beatles - I know the song has been covered a lot on Idol, but with Skylar, it's gonna be different. The country twist she can put in it, the headbang, the more upbeat verson,l that's what she can do. The song is known and loved by most Americans, and it might even leave a great impact.
CHALLENGE: With Ur Love by Cher Lloyd - This song is loved and hated, the challenge for her is to make America like the performance she can give with the song.

Joshua Ledet
SUGGESTION: Jumpin' Jack Flash by The Rolling Stones - The song is so for Joshua, and it doesn't sound that boring. He can pull it off, and I think whether he does pull it off or not, America will put him through...
CHALLENGE: It's Not Unusual by Tom Jones - Aw, this is gonna sound karaoke if sang by just anyone. Joshua? We'll really  see what you can do, and it has to be better than "Crazy Little Thing Called Love."

Jessica Sanchez
SUGGESTION: Domino by Jessie J - Another fun song, which I see Jessica singing. She can sing the song, and not make it ballad the way she did with "How Will I Know" where I saw her really have fun on the stage.
CHALLENGE: Valerie by Amy Winehouse - It's gonna be a struggle for Jessica to head bang on the Idol stage, this song might help her or not, because based on her Bohemian Rhapsody performance, we really don't know if she's flexible enough. A great artist can sing anything, and a great artist is not afraid to take on risks, it's time for Jessica to prove that.

Phillip Phillips
SUGGESTION: Breakeven by The Script - They are based in London, that means they are British singers. The song is great, it's not boring, Americans know the song, and no other artists has covered the song and did a great job yet, maybe Phillip can.
CHALLENGE: Under Pressure by David Bowie with Queen - Imagine Phillip singing the song. It will ba hard for him, but that's the challenge here. The song fits his voice, but we have to see him connect with it without struggling.
Hollie Cavanagh
SUGGESTION: Candle in the Wind by Elton John - For me, this is one of the best songs sang by a British artist, and Hollie can definitely sing it. The emotion, and message of the song will help her get through to the next round. She has a lot of things to do to have a perfect performance, but based on the past weeks, she can handle it.
CHALLENGE: Footprints in the Sand by Leona Lewis - One of Leona's best songs. It has a great message. The challenge on the song is how Hollie's gonna connect with it, as well as the way she's going to sing it. If she has to sing it, she doesn't have to do rearrangements because the song's already perfect for her.

That's it! Make sure you stay tuned on the performance night so you can vote for your favorite, and see Carrie Underwood and Coldplay perform on the results night!

AMERICAN IDOL 2012: THE TOUGH TOP 5 REVEALED

Weeks have passed, and we're slowly dwindling down to two. Tonight, only 5 contestants will be left on stage to make their dreams come true. Adding a little entertainment, we have Stefano Langone and Katy Perry perform on the Idol stage, and we have Ryan Seacrest and Kieran to build up the tension as they dim the lights.

America, who did you vote for?

BOTTOM 3
  • Elise Testone
  • Hollie Cavanagh
  • Skylar Laine
ELIMINATED
  • Elise Testone
COMMENTS
  • The judges are so bias, Joshua's performance didn't deserve a standing ovation, if they didn't do that, I have a feeling that it would be him going home today.
TOP 5
  • Jessica Sanchez
  • Joshua Ledet
  • Phillip Phillips
  • Skylar Laine
  • Hollie Cavanagh
Did America get it right? Who should've went home if it was your decision?

AMERICAN IDOL 2012: TOP 6 PERFORMANCE REVIEW

The American Idol 2012 top 6 has taken on the stage with Queen songs, and Personal song choices. Who stood out? Here's what I think.

Skylar performing The Show Must Go On; Credits: FOX
QUEEN

  1. Skylar Laine - The Show Must Go On - I love the song choice and I love the performance. She really showed it to America that she's not standing in the middle of the pack, because she's really starting to lead now!
  2. Hollie Cavanagh - Save Me - Save her, not by pity, but because she really deserves it. That performance was way, way much better than some of the other performances. It's not boring if you watch it again, really.
  3. Elise Testone - I Want It All - Another good job brought to us by Elise. America must vote for her. It wasn't her best, but her Queen performance stood out than the others below her in this list. Elise must go on.
  4. Phillip Phillips - Fat Bottomed Girls - I know he always do those shoulder shrugs, and weird dances, but he looked like he was struggling with the song, though he sang it great. I don't know, he looked like he was just struggling.
  5. Jessica Sanchez - Bohemian Rhapsody - Where's the rock and roll on the song? I'll have to say it's not Bohemian Rhapsody without the runnin', without the hair flying, and without the rockin' facial expressions. Good vocals, but stage presence, thumbs down!
  6. Joshua Ledet - Crazy Little Thing Called Love - Okay, the judges are defintely giving him the standing ovation to give him a mark, and make America remember him. That's just unfair, because for me, the song didn't really fit him.

Hollie Cavanagh performing The Climb; Credits: FOX
PERSONAL  CHOICES

  1. Skylar Laine - Tattoos on this Town - Awesome job! She may have been placed on a elimination-phrone spot, but I have a great feeling that she won't be going home tomorrow because of this memorable performance, as well as the other one. Skylar's a really great artist, and haters will be haters, so don't listen to them.
  2. Hollie Cavanagh - The Climb - This girl is really fighting for a spot on the top 5, and that song definitely helped her. She connected with it, because she really has to climb her way to the top, and she showed us her range once again. Hollie did a really great job tonight.
  3. Phillip Phillips - The Stone - It's one of the most unusual performances you'll see on Idol. He held on, and he did a good job. I'll have to say it's much better than his first performance.
  4. Elise Testone - Bold As Love - America! Don't be deaf! Vote for this girl! Her performances were ones of the performances which stood out not only tonight, but as well as the previous weeks. The song choice was really great, and it fits her.
  5. Joshua Ledet - Ready For Love - This was way, way better than the first song. Joshua really did a great job, and these are the songs he should be recording. GO JOSHUA!
  6. Jessica Sanchez - Dance With My Father Again - Cool song choice, but I was a little bit bored. he showed great emotion, she connected with the audience a little, and we heard her powerful voice, but for me, it's just a so-so. Jessica can do better than that.

If I'll rank them combining both performances, it'll be...

  1. Skylar Laine
  2. Hollie Cavanagh
  3. Elise Testone
  4. Phillip Phillips
  5. Joshua Ledet
  6. Jessica Sanchez

BOTTOM 3: Jessica Sanchez, Elise Testone, Hollie Cavangh
ELIMINATED: Elise Testone, because the judges are so bias about giving comments.

What do you think about their performances? Who's going home tomorrow? Comment.

AMERICAN IDOL 2012: TOP 6 SUGGESTION AND CHALLENGE SONGS FOR 'QUEEN' WEEK

The Top 6; CREDITS: americanidol.com

Last week was the most shocking week because one of the best contestants has left us, it's even more shocking than Jessica's supposed to be departure, but we all have to move on and let the judges be more bias so that the best contestants will leave first. This week, the top 6 will be singing songs by Queen and another random song choice, and my job today is to suggest and challenge (Only for Queen, btu I may do a suggestion for the random songs too, soon). Let's start!

Elise Testone
SUGGETION: Innuendo - This song is just so Elise. It has that growly thing going on and that's just Elise. he has to work really hard if she doesn't want to be in the bottom three again. he;s a great artist but I think she should always step it up every time she performs.
CHALLENGE: I Want It All - Another rock/growly song for Elise. It's a hard song to cover, but it can help Elise escape the bottom three, only if she can send the message to America. She wants it all, the title, the fame, and the votes.

Joshua Ledet
SUGGETION: Another One Bites the Dust - Joshua can really funk it up with this song, I really don't know which song I should suggest to him, and when i listened to this, I remembered Joshua. He can sing the song, and it's perfect for him.
CHALLENGE: Too Much Love Will Kill You - This is actually an easy challenge because it's perfect for Joshua's voice, what's a challenge about it is the delivery and the connection with the song. We'll see how he's gonna work with it if he sings this song.

Skylar Laine
SUGGETION: We Will Rock You - This is the best song for her, and I think she's gonna nail it. I can't say anything more.
CHALLENGE: One Vision - I love this song, I think Skylar Laine can rock this out. Now, why did I make it a challenge? It's a song about religion, and singing songs about religion is hard, but on the bright side, it's about unity, she can definitely work this one out.

Jessica Sanchez
SUGGETION: Don't Stop Me Now - I wanna see Jessica have fun again, and this is a song which talks about having a good time, and at the same time, not stopping to live the life you want to live. She can send a message to the viewers that she's gonna fight until the end.
CHALLENGE: Under Pressure - It's a song usually covered by guys, and that's the challenge, twist it, and make it perfect. We'll see what Jessica can really do.

Phillip Phillips:
SUGGETION: Killer Queen - It's a fun song, and though I know he's gonna use his style again with the song, it's not going to be boring because of the vibe of the song. It's just perfect for him, all he needs is more good storytelling with rhythm.
CHALLENGE: Body Language - This song will steal a lot of votes for sure if Phillip can sing it perfectly. It's the type of song song outside his boundaries, and he has to show sexiness for plus points.

Hollie Cavanagh
SUGGETION: I Want To Break Free - The only problem with the song is that it can sound karaoke if it's not sung perfectly, but I know Hollie can pull it off, she just needs to practice a little bit of this and that, and she's good, no, great!
CHALLENGE: Bohemian Rhapsody - It's one of Queen's biggest songs, Hollie can sing it, but it would be hard for her because she has to do a lot of practice, and she has to work with pitch control if she wants to stay on track. It's a hard song, but it can be Hollie's redemption.

There you have it! What do you think should they sing?

AMERICAN IDOL 2012: TOP 7 PERFORMANCE REVIEW

She did it again! ; CREDITS: FOX
The top 7 has taken on the stage and I wasn't expecting that it would be a little boring. I know I was excited and all last week, but when I watched it, I was really disappointed. Anyway, Hollie is on the edge, and let's hope the judges will save her, but Phillip will always be safe and so, I don't have to comment on that, I'll just start ranking them now!

  1.  Elise Testone - "You and I" by Lady Gaga - Guess who I just heard there... Adele and Lady Gaga at the same time. I loved the song choice, I loved the performance, America should vote for her, if she will be voted off tomorrow, the judges should save her! GO ELISE! he really rocked that performance!!!
  2. Jessica Sanchez - "Stuttering" by Jazmine Sullivan - I think she really did a great job. I'm starting to appreciate her voice even more. he';s a great girl and she's gonna make it further in the competition. he has good control, and she doesn't push too much. I love that.
  3. Holle Cavanagh - "Perfect" by Pink - The judges want her off the show. he did a great job performing, but the way they criticized her, it's like she didn't do a good job. I don't know, but America, you better vote for this girl because she deserves to be in the finale, and to the judges, YOU ARE ALL WRONG! Your minds are overworking that they malfunctioned when it's her turn to perform.
  4. Skylar Laine - "Didn't Know How Much I Loved You" by Kellie Pickler - Her performance was awesome, but didn't make her stand out for the night. he might be in a little danger with that performance, though she really did good, and though she's one of the best singers this year.
  5. Phillip Phillips - "Give a Little More" by Maroon 5 - Great Job! But it's still boring. He has a unique voice, and he should start exploring what it really can do, because all your performances are just the same week by week. Think America!
  6. Colton Dixon - "Love The Way You Lie" by Rihanna - I know everyone will disagree, but that's not a good performance. It's his worst performance so far.I'll just give him another chance by saying that he just pickjed the wrong song, but he should do better next time, vocally, and he should start picking the right songs from now on.
  7. Joshua Ledet - "Runaway Baby" by Bruno Mars - Overdid it to the level that he didn't sound like it's his best. He's not relaxed, and he's pushing himself too hard. He oversung the song, and I really didn't like any of it, YES, even the song choice.
GROUPS:
  1. Elise and Phillip - It was perfect.
  2. Colton and Skylar - It was great.
  3. Joshua, Hollie, and Jessica - I'm sorry, but I think Joshua ruined it.
As you can all see, the girls did better this week, and I hope all the girls out there in America are gonna vote wisely, and think about what they are really doing to the other contestants.

BOTTOM 3: Hollie Cavanagh, Elise Testone/Skylar Laine, Joshua Ledet
ELIMINATED: Joshua Ledet
SAVE? If it's Joshua, it's 50/50, but most likely, no.

What do you think about their performances? Who should be eliminated?

AMERICAN IDOL 2012: TOP 8 STUDIO RECORDINGS REVIEW

American Idol Top 8 - Season 11
Compilation Album
Since I'm not posting that much in this blog, I decided that I'll also start reviewing the studio recordings of each contestant every week, and I'm gonna start with the top 8. As you all know, the studio versions of their songs are different from their live performances and so, you are gonna see a different ranking in this post. Here we go...

  1. Skylar Laine - Wind Beneath My Wings - Nobody can beat her this week, that's my opinion. She did a really great job delivering her performance, and with this recording, she had me again, and I think it's not only me that she got. I hope we're gonna hear more of her studio recordings.
  2. Colton Dixon - Time After Time - It sounded like his performance, same arrangement, same range, and I still loved it. However, I still see him doing soft rock, or rock songs, and with that, I hope he picks a better song next week.
  3. Hollie Cavanagh - Flashdance... What a Feelin' - Despite of that performance, she had a great studio recording. I think her performance last Wednesday night was good, but this version is way, way much better. One thing I have to tell Hollie, she should start taking on bigger songs that shows us why she is deserving to stay in the competition.
  4. Elise Testone - I Want To Know What Love Is - I loved it. It's a song which was gonna sound karaoke when you sing it, but for her, it seemed so natural, it didn't sound karaoke at all. I hope people are gonna start voting for the voice, and not for the face so that she can stay longer in the competition.
  5. Jessica Sanchez - How Will I Know - Her recording was just a so-so for me, I loved her performance more, because I saw her have fun.
  6. DeAndre Brackensick - I Like It - Just like all his previous songs, I always like the studio versions better. I don't know, but this performance was great, and he wasn't on the top because I still think that the others are better than him.
  7. Joshua Ledet - If You Don't Know Me By Now - I don't want to say anything against this song, but his performance was better. The studio recording was just so-so, but I still like his voice.
  8. Phillip Phillips - That's All - I don't know what I didn't like about it, but it sounded like his first performance from way back. That's All.

AMERICAN IDOL 2012: TOP 8 REVIEW

Skylar Laine, best performance of the night; Credits: FOX
The top 8 have taken on the stage, and the show didn't turn out to be boring. It's now time to review each of their performances, starting from the best, to the person who I think didn't do a really great job. Before that, I just noticed people who perform last are really nailing it, Phillip, Colton, Elise, and now Skylar. Now, let's start the review...

SOLOS:

  1. Skylar Laine - Wind Beneath My Wings - She was really connected to the song, and I love how she performed it. Okay, a lot of people are saying that she's not gonna win, I have to agree with them, but we all have to admit that she's a great artist. The judges did a great job picking the contestants this year. Skylar really did a good job closing the show, and that's quite a redemption from last week. I love her.
  2. Colton Dixon - Time After Time - Great arrangement, it sounded like it's his own, and I saw him connect with the song. I want to see him do a performance like "Pianoi Man" again, though, so I hope he'll pick a slower and soft-rock-ish song next week. One more thing, I'd be surprised if I see him leave for the upcoming weeks.
  3. Jessica Sanchez - How Will I Know - I'm glad she did a happy song this week, because I really want to see her have more fun on stage. It was a better version of Jessica than the previous versions of her, because I saw her confidence, and she really did a great, awesome job. I like this Jessica, and I hope I'll see more of her doing performances like this.
  4. Elise Testone - I Want To Know What Love Is - I'm starting to love her ever since she started really singing. Her performance was average, but it s enough to put her through the next round. I said average because I know she can do better than that, and with that average performance, she still did a great job performing better than some of the other contestants.
  5. Joshua Ledet - If You Don't Know Me By Now - Cool! I had hints that he'll be the one doing the song when I saw the spoiler song list. I wasn't expecting that much from him, because I know he can nail it, he's a great guy, and I know he's gonna make it far in the competition. This is bad, but I still don't think that he can win the competition.
  6. DeAndre Brackensick - I Like It - I think he did a great job this week, and he's really being tru to what he can do. I just think that he should start taking risks this time, because five people have been voted off, and you don't want to be the sixth. It's time to step out of you comfort zone and start to show people what other things you are capable of.
  7. Hollie Cavanagh - Flashdance... What a Feelin' - Great song, but she didn't deliver it well. She also didn't connect that much to the song, but she still has a great voice, just more connection next time. If she will ever be eliminated this week, I hope the judges save her, and I hope America will give her another chance after that.
  8. Phillip Phillips - That's All - I don't think Phillip did a great job this week, and just like what I said the previous weeks, he has to step it up because he just has to. Each performances are just similar, and I want him to do something new.
Joshua and JEssica, best duet of the night; Credits: FOX
GROUPS:
  1. Joshua & Jessica - I Knew You Were Waiting For Me - Best duet of the night, I'm glad they decided to pair these two. They did a really awesome performance, and there's nothing more I can say about it.
  2. Colton & Skylar - Islands in the Stream - First of all, they were trending on twitter worldwide, and that's because their performance left an impact. They did a great job, and it was almost perfect.
  3. Phillip & Elise - Stop Draggin' My Heart Around - They did a great, great job, but they weren't the best. I love their duo, and I love their song, great job!
  4. DeAndre & Hollie - I'm So Excited - I like their performance, but I think DeAndre was a little exaggerated when he sang the song, with Hollie, she did a good job, and I saw them have fun, so that's it.
MY THOUGHTS FOR TONIGHT'S SHOW:
Bottom 3: Hollie Cavanagh, DeAndre Brackensick, Joshua Ledet
Eliminated: DeAndre Brackensick
Save? No

What do you think about their performances? Who do you think will be eliminated?

AMERICAN IDOL 2012: TOP 12 GIRLS REVIEW

Tonight they let it all out, and just like what I did yesterday, I'll be reviewing theeir performances based on my opinion and tell you who are my picks, and who are the people I think are America's picks. Here we go!

1. Elise Testone - One and Only - BEST PERFORMANCE OF THE NIGHT! I hope America's going to put her through. She started with the piano, and she was doing great, and when she stood up, she did greater, and in the end, it was concluded, she is one of the best this season, and she's hopefully really going to sell records in the future.

2. Hollie Cavanagh - Reflection - Amazing, Beautiful, Awesome performance! This girl has it the full package, she is beautiful, she has the voice, and she has a good personality. She was able to show us her range in the performance, and I know ith that, she'll make it through the top 13.

3. Jessica Sanchez - Love You I Do - she has a really great voice, which I first heard on the final two rounds before the semi-finals. I think everybody likes her, and I think people will put her through the top 13. She has an amazing range.

4. Skylar Laine - Stay With Me - Very, very, very amazing performance. This girl can really sing country. I think she already has a chance of making it to the top 13 with that amazing voice of hers.

5. Shannon Magarane - Go Light your World - her performance moved me, and I think sme people, and that is the best way to sing a song because you knew that she really connected to it. She did a really good job, and I hope that she'll be able to continue on her journey here on Idol.

6. Brielle Von Hugel - Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay - If I didn't hear Haley there, I wouldn't like her performance, because I simply just don't like this girl, especially her personality. But I have to admit that she really did great tonight.

7. Chelsea Sorrell - Cowboy Casanova - That was a very fun, make-you-stand-up-and-join-in performance from this girl. I never knew this girl until this moment maybe because I'm too focused with the other contestants, but I think she really did a great job. I have to say that she doesn't look like a ountry girl, but she sounds just like one.

8. Hallie Day - Feeling Good - the song didn't give her justice, I hear this on Idol every year, I think during these rounds, they should pick better songs that they can own. She did deliver, but I just don't like the song choice, I still want her to make it through though.

9. Jen Hirsh - One and Only- good song choice, but I'm still looking for something. If she knew that she's gonna perform a song which will be performed by somebody elses, she should've put a little more effort with it. She has a great voice, but I think she has to stick to strong performances that will make people remember her because this is just the top 24.

10. Haley Johnsen - Sweet Dreams - I think she had a great performance, that gave a mysterious vibe to everyone, but I think it's not enough to put her through to the top 13. Among all the contestants, I think she's one of the people ho didn't receive much attention during the earlier rounds, and that is a problem.

11. Ericka Van Pelt - What About Love - I really thought she was gonna rock it out, but I think she didn't. That's not EVP I heard there, because there's just something missing, maybe some connection with the song, I don't know. I love her and I hope they still put her through because I want to see her show everyone what she really can do.

12. Baylie Brown - Amazed - I know that wasn't her best, but her performance for me was boring, I didn't like it one bit. That's all I have to say.

MY TOP 5 PICKS (Based on what I think they can do in the future): Hollie Cavanagh, Elise Testone, Shannon Magrane, Skylar Laine, Jessica Sanchez

TOP 5 PICKS OF AMERICA (based on how I see them vote every season): Hollie Cavanagh, Jessica Sanchez, Shannon Magrane, Skylar Laine, Brielle Von Hugel

WILDCARD (If they won't make it): Elise Testone, Jen Hirsh, Chelsea Sorrell
