AMERICAN IDOL 2012: TOP 6 PERFORMANCE REVIEW

The American Idol 2012 top 6 has taken on the stage with Queen songs, and Personal song choices. Who stood out? Here's what I think.

QUEEN

  1. Skylar Laine - The Show Must Go On - I love the song choice and I love the performance. She really showed it to America that she's not standing in the middle of the pack, because she's really starting to lead now!
  2. Hollie Cavanagh - Save Me - Save her, not by pity, but because she really deserves it. That performance was way, way much better than some of the other performances. It's not boring if you watch it again, really.
  3. Elise Testone - I Want It All - Another good job brought to us by Elise. America must vote for her. It wasn't her best, but her Queen performance stood out than the others below her in this list. Elise must go on.
  4. Phillip Phillips - Fat Bottomed Girls - I know he always do those shoulder shrugs, and weird dances, but he looked like he was struggling with the song, though he sang it great. I don't know, he looked like he was just struggling.
  5. Jessica Sanchez - Bohemian Rhapsody - Where's the rock and roll on the song? I'll have to say it's not Bohemian Rhapsody without the runnin', without the hair flying, and without the rockin' facial expressions. Good vocals, but stage presence, thumbs down!
  6. Joshua Ledet - Crazy Little Thing Called Love - Okay, the judges are defintely giving him the standing ovation to give him a mark, and make America remember him. That's just unfair, because for me, the song didn't really fit him.

PERSONAL  CHOICES

  1. Skylar Laine - Tattoos on this Town - Awesome job! She may have been placed on a elimination-phrone spot, but I have a great feeling that she won't be going home tomorrow because of this memorable performance, as well as the other one. Skylar's a really great artist, and haters will be haters, so don't listen to them.
  2. Hollie Cavanagh - The Climb - This girl is really fighting for a spot on the top 5, and that song definitely helped her. She connected with it, because she really has to climb her way to the top, and she showed us her range once again. Hollie did a really great job tonight.
  3. Phillip Phillips - The Stone - It's one of the most unusual performances you'll see on Idol. He held on, and he did a good job. I'll have to say it's much better than his first performance.
  4. Elise Testone - Bold As Love - America! Don't be deaf! Vote for this girl! Her performances were ones of the performances which stood out not only tonight, but as well as the previous weeks. The song choice was really great, and it fits her.
  5. Joshua Ledet - Ready For Love - This was way, way better than the first song. Joshua really did a great job, and these are the songs he should be recording. GO JOSHUA!
  6. Jessica Sanchez - Dance With My Father Again - Cool song choice, but I was a little bit bored. he showed great emotion, she connected with the audience a little, and we heard her powerful voice, but for me, it's just a so-so. Jessica can do better than that.

If I'll rank them combining both performances, it'll be...

  1. Skylar Laine
  2. Hollie Cavanagh
  3. Elise Testone
  4. Phillip Phillips
  5. Joshua Ledet
  6. Jessica Sanchez

BOTTOM 3: Jessica Sanchez, Elise Testone, Hollie Cavangh
ELIMINATED: Elise Testone, because the judges are so bias about giving comments.

What do you think about their performances? Who's going home tomorrow? Comment.
